Perth, Edinburgh, and Glasgow are all within an hour's drive, and this is an ideal place from which to explore the Trossachs, the gateway to the Highlands, Rob Roy country, Bannockburn and Stirling with its magnificent castle and associations with William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and the Kings and Queens of Scotland. Golf Courses within 35 minutes include Gleneagles, Loch Lomond, Callander, Aberfoyle and Bridge of Allan. ACCOMMODATION:
The Cottage sleeps 4/5 and is all on one level; there are no stairs. Full central heating. There are two bedrooms at opposite ends of the cottage, each with their own bathrooms, separated by the Sitting/Dining Room. The Gled Cottage is an ideal base if you are Disabled and looking for accommodation in the Stirling area. The property is wheel-chair friendly and all on one level. The GARDEN ROOM, A SUPER KING SIZE DOUBLE which can be converted into a Twin, and has its own en-suite shower-room with a Disabled Seat and Grab Rail in a walk-in shower. Hair Dryer provided. The CHINESE ROOM has TWIN BEDS and a STOWAWAY BED. It has its own adjacent bathroom with shower over the bath. Cots (cribs) can be provided on request. The comfortable Sitting/Dining room has an Open fire, television/dvd with Freeview, CD player with radio. Fully equipped Kitchen - Place settings for six. Pots pans. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, cooker, microwave oven, fridge, Iron, Ironing Board, Hoover. (Also chest deep-freeze in a shed behind the cottage.)
